I know this is old news, but the internet really, really, really blows my mind.
This morning I am just stowing my laptop in my bag when it starts that friendly skype ring. I pull it back out and open it up and it's my dad wanting to do a video call from the kitchen in Lincolnton. unreal. quality is top notch too. We just a had a quick call, but the feeling of hardly being removed at all completely changes the tenor of the trip. Of course seeing Bebe and Jen has been just fantastic. I think it will make being away from them bearable!!!
